THE POSITION & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Montgomery Group are currently working on a range of exciting plans to develop our events and digital products in order to connect and inspire our communities even more than before.

As part of those plans, we are looking for a Content Producer to join our team based in central London, W1.

This is an opportunity for a passionate Content Producer who demonstrates strong creativity, loves being part of the communities their events serve and has a desire to continue the development of the events at the heart the food, drink & design industries.

After a series of phenomenal 2023 editions, we have very ambitious growth plans.

The Content Producer will have the freedom to autonomously drive the content strategy for at least four of our market-leading brands such as Surface Design Show and Independent Hotel Show Amsterdam.

ROLE PROFILE

The Content Producer is a crucial role for our market-defining annual events in London and Europe, helping us connect our communities year-round as well as ensuring we deliver content in a range of formats.

The role has three main missions:
1) Develop and deepen our relationships with the top influencers in the market.

2) Develop and deliver our event content recruiting the sharpest speakers, defining topics and formats, and research, create and design event features that will inspire the market and address its key challenges.

3) Define and deliver a year-round multi-channel content strategy that will connect and inspire our community through regular newsletters, surveys, webinars, publications, round tables, social media and more.

All of this will help us to develop and grow our audience for the events; and more importantly, ensure we fulfil our broader mission, supporting our communities to innovate and build a better future.

ABOUT YOU

We need someone with a creative approach to content development and the gravitas and charisma to mix with the most important people in the sector.

  • Impeccable copywriting and proofing skills.
  • Ability to analyse and understand a wide range of complex issues and express them in simple and engaging language.
  • Confidence and curiosity to talk to a wide range of people on the phone and face to face and to understand what makes them tick.
  • Desire and ability to network and develop high level partnerships in the industries we serve (food, drink and design).
  • The skill to work independently with confidence in your own opinions.
  • Capability to work with multiple senior stakeholders simultaneously across two divisions within Montgomery Group
