We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Planner to join our logistics team at Annat, Fort William.

As one of our Transport Planners you will be playing a central role in creating effective transport plans for our customers.

You will ensure compliance to both customer and legal requirements through effective processing, reporting and management of requirements.

Working as part of a dynamic team, duties will include:

Being a member of the transport team; liaising regularly with the rest of the team
Effective management and planning of drivers, through ongoing communication and using our stateoftheart transport software
Ensuring compliance to both customer and legal requirements through effective processing, reporting and management of requirements and associated procedures
Controlling and planning an agreed amount of resource (vehicles, drivers, trailers); ensuring all legal requirements are adhered to (Working Time Directive and EU drivers' hours regulations)
Customer liaison
Reviewing ongoing performance against preagreed KPI
Understanding and achieving key performance targets relating to the safety and efficiency of our fleet and ensuring KPI reports are completed as required
Update trailer and vehicle boards
Constantly communicate with our customer service teams and drivers to ensure customer KPI's and targets are achieved and maintained
The ability to conduct themself in a business like and professional manner at all times
