THE ROLE


Tindles is expanding and we are on the lookout for a motivated and experienced bookkeeping/tax assistant to join our team with a view to you enjoying a long and fulfilling career with us.


In this role you will work on projects for a wide range of clients across various industries, providing essential financial support and guidance.


Main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Cloud bookkeeping
  • Selfassessment personal and corporation tax returns
  • Preparation and review of VAT returns
  • Company secretarial work
  • Cloud accounting set up and training
  • Tax advisory support
  • Advising and working closely with a range of clients from large corporations to sole traders
  • Liaising with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, to build strong and meaningful relationships
  • Supporting the wider team, leading on ad hoc projects, and reviewing/improving internal work efficiencies

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (particularly, Excel)
  • A track record of using industry software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and Iris products is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy working with numbers
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Be able to work from our office in Teesside
