We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Business Support Officer to enhance our already established friendly and supportive team who will contribute to a key area of work of the Resources Directorate.


This is a full-time, permanent post working 37 hours per week and supports the Information Governance Team within Legal, Governance & Registrars based at County Hall, Preston and providing administrational support to the Information Governance Team.


What we are looking for:


Passion - You'll be passionate about delivering a great service and enjoy dealing with people, asking for support when you need it and building on the skills that you've developed elsewhere.


Knowledge and Experience - Ideally you will have experience of working within a busy and varied administration setting and have knowledge of using Microsoft packages and databases and importing/exporting electronic files.


Great Communication - You'll be engaging and providing support and liaising with third party organisations, members of the public and the rest of the team on a daily basis, so being able to communicate information clearly and confidently and listen to individual requirements is key to the role.


Multi-tasking - We are a busy team who deal with approximately 3,000 requests for information each year, so being able to prioritise and work on a number of tasks simultaneously is a must.

We are currently working a combination of home and office working; therefore, you will be required to have a suitable working space within your home and broadband connection.
