Project Manager - Health - 6 months (£41,000 to £52,275pa pro-rata)


Are you an experience project manager with knowledge of health sciences, or have a strong background working on health projects? We are currently seeking an established project manager for a well-respected health membership; this is a 6 month maternity coverto start in mid-January 2023.


This is a hybrid working role, with a 40:60 working arrangement with the role based at the London office in Holborn for a minimum of two days a week and three days remote working.


For this role you will have senior level project management experience delivering successful multiple and high-level projects ideally with health sciences background or a connection to the health sector to understand the complexities of the sector.


Working closely with a core group of senior clinicians, you will lead the development of the programme You will work closely with communication colleagues to identify opportunities to ensure that clinicians are kept up to date with developments.

You willwork alongside policy colleagues to help identify and influence ethical and governance issues.

You will also develop specific projects to ensure that members are equipped and prepared to adopt genomics services into practice.


You will be used to working autonomously, have strong problem-solving skills, able to work across a range of teams and disciplines, experienced in preparing and presenting proposals to a range of stakeholders with different levels of understanding and knowledge.

You will be accustomed to discussing and presenting complex issues around health specificaly geonomics.

Salary within a range of £41,000 to £52,275 depending on skills, knowledge and experience.


Personal Specification:

  • Proven experience of producing high quality written reports, documentation and promotional information suitable for a range of audiences
  • Ability to manage competing demands and conflicts whilst maintaining productive working relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and ability to influence and persuade a range of stakeholders with different levels of understanding and knowledge about complex issues
  • Demonstrable programme management and skills, capable of working autonomously and taking personal responsibility for own projects
  • Ability to deliver multiple objectives within short time frames to high standards and to meet multiple deadlines
