Ambitions Academies Trust is seeking to appoint an inspirational Principal for St Aldhelm's Academy to ensure that every day is a quality, safe, enjoyable and enriching day.

Ambitions Academies Trust was created in March 2012 and now operates with 6,100 students and 1000 members of staff.

St Aldhelm's Academy is a co-educational secondary school serving the Rossmore, Parkstone, Newtown, Wallisdown and Alderney areas of Poole and Dorset.

The school prides itself on its inclusive, student-centred community, where young people are empowered and central to driving change and shaping the future of the education that it delivers.

As Principal at St Aldhelm's Academy, you will be responsible to the Director of Secondary Education for the operational leadership, internal organisation, management and control of the Academy.

You will work with the Director of Secondary Education to deliver a shared vision and school development plan to inspire and motivate pupils, staff and all members of the St Aldhelm's community.

Additionally, you will provide strong and effective leadership to ensure the direction of the academy meets its aims and targets.

You will also have demonstrable experience of making effective use of funding and other resources with strong financial planning and management skills.

Confidence, resilience and able to lead with integrity is key to the role.

You will be committed to encouraging personal development and can inspire others within and beyond the school to believe in the fundamental importance and value of education in young people's lives.
