    Description

    We are seeking a skilled and passionate Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Stroke Team at Atlantis-Medical, a leading healthcare provider in London. Our team offers a wide range of services, including emergency care, surgery, maternity, and specialized stroke rehabilitation.

    The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients recovering from stroke, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and patient-centered care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conducting specialized assessments and developing personalized rehabilitation plans for patients recovering from stroke.
    • Providing hands-on occupational therapy interventions to help patients regain their functional independence.
    • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
    • Educating patients and their families about the rehabilitation process and strategies to support recovery at home.

    Requirements:

    • Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
    • Minimum of one year of neuro experience, preferably within a stroke rehabilitation setting.
    • Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • A proactive approach to professional development and continuous learning.
