Supply Chain Supervisor
1-year Fixed Term Contract with the possibility of the role becoming permanent

Hybrid role - minimum 3 days in the office


Hours:
Monday to Friday


Salary:
£40,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience


Role Description - Supply Chain Supervisor
To support the Head of Supply Chain by overseeing the running of the Supply Chain and Production Planning activities. This includes organising a smooth administration workflow and paying particular attention to maintaining appropriate levels of stockholding.


Key responsibilities:
Supply Chain Supervisor


  • Responsible for ordering all packed stock from external suppliers and maintaining stock levels in line with Company guidelines.
  • To determine, set up and maintain forecasts in BI for all packed and bulk products by analysing sales data, liaising with Customers, Suppliers and the Sales team.
  • To set up new materials that arise from the NPD (New Product Development) meeting in the system.
  • Produce weekly Stockholding Reports to highlight low stock levels and overstocking.
  • To produce monthly Problem Stock Reports to highlight lines that potentially could be written off, so that a plan can be organised to help reduce stock levels.
  • Responsible for determining best Route to Market and calculating Warehousing and Distribution for all Product Costing Requests.
  • To collate information for the Promotional Chart so that production can be planned accordingly, selling prices set up and to support the Accounts department with any relevant accruals.
  • To assist the Head of supply Chain with important projects / analysis relating to Supply Chain operations where required, such as End to End projects.

Skill / Experience - Supply Chain Supervisor

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to build and develop effective working relationships with Suppliers, Internal Sales, Marketing, Technical and Supply Chain Departments
  • Strong team player.
  • Effective Time-Management with ability to prioritise.
  • Planning, analysis, forecasting skills and strategic thinking.
  • Understanding the constraints that are involved in live projects and how timings are crucial in the launch of new products.
  • SAP knowledge
  • Excel skills (moderate)

Full-time, Fixed term contract

£40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
