_Are you looking for your next exciting career step within an established manufacturing business?_

A leading manufacturer of wear resistant process plant and equipment are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join their team in Kidderminster as a production manager.

Reporting directly to the operations director, you will be managing,mentoring and recruiting a workforce of 25 whilst contributing to the continued success of the business.

You will play a pivotal role in delivering excellence, as the business grows from strength to strength.

Role Responsibilities:

Ownership of both direct and in direct reports including managing, mentoring, recruiting a workforce currently standing at circa 25 with a view to increasing up to 40 within the next 2 years.
Control of all fixed and mobile assets with regard legislation, H&S, efficiency, replacement as and when required.
Stock control, rotation and replacement alongside goods inwards and despatch process.
Maintain and enhance industry standards (ISO) and introduce and implement best practice 5s/Kanban etc.
Plan, develop and deliver working programmes to meet KPI's/QCD being at forefront of all production activities.
Introduce and enhance SOP's throughout working environment.

What are we looking for?

Previous experience in Production/Operations management within a manufacturing business.
A sound understanding of fabrication/fitting/surface protection
Formal qualifications (HND/Deg) to deliver the above would be desirable
Excellent communicator amongst all peers' groups.
