    We are seeking a Lecturer in Risk Management to support our continuing growth and contribute to the delivery of high-quality learning and teaching within the Department of Finance, Accounting and Risk at Glasgow Caledonian University.

    As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for providing academic leadership and expertise in risk management. Your primary focus will be on delivering modules that enhance our reputation in this area and contribute to the development of future business leaders.

    The ideal candidate will hold a relevant qualification or degree in risk management or a related field and have a proven track record of supporting student learning and teaching in higher education or industry.

    You will also be expected to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in risk management, applying your knowledge to enhance the student experience across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Contribute to the delivery and assessment of existing modules, supervision, and the enhancement of the student experience across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

    • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in risk management, applying your knowledge to enhance the student experience.
    • Support student learning, teaching, and assessment in higher education or industry.

    Requirements:

    • Relevant qualifications in risk management or a related field.
    • Experience of supporting student learning, teaching, and assessment in higher education or industry.
    • Up-to-date experience of e-learning and online environments.
    • A higher education teaching qualification and/or Fellow status with AdvanceHE is desirable.
