Administrative Assistant
An excellent opportunity has been made available for an administrative assistant to join our busy and expanding business


Part-Time Admin Assistant required, to assist in family run business in daily admin tasks with bookkeeping experience desirable but not essential. Our company provides cleaning services to domestic and commercial industry.


The role will be hands-on, with a good mixture of office support work and will require a disciplined individual with excellent attention to detail and a willingness to contribute across various task to provide extensive general back office administrative support where required.


Job Specification

  • Will need a professional, confident telephone manner to be the first point of contact.
  • Taking orders over the telephone, writing out job sheets, pricing work.
  • Scheduling works & clients on a data base rostering system.
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing post
  • Cover reception duties, like greeting and looking after visitors
  • Type up documents, letters, and reports
  • Use and maintain office equipment like printers, photocopiers etc.
  • File maintenance, responsible for maintaining office files and archiving.
  • Assist with customer communications and queries.
  • Collating paperwork (job sheets), preinvoicing, invoicing, and pricing queries.

Person Specification

  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Good computer knowledge in different computer packagers.
  • Accuracy is essential as is being organised and methodical in approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, to deal with customers and external contacts.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work too, and sometimes implement own processes.
  • Work well under pressure, must have a 'cando' positive attitude.
Car driver preferred but not essential.

Salary:
£11.00-£11.50 per hour
