360 Recruitment are a specialist Technology recruiter, currently recruiting for a Senior Juniper Network Engineer to join one of the fastest-growing IT Managed Service Providers in the UK.

**Role: **Senior Juniper Network Engineer
(JNCIP-SP certified)


Salary:

£55,000 to £70,000

**About the Role: **Supporting the Core Network Architect and Engineers in delivery of work packages that will develop the roadmap, inclusive of cloud networking. You will need to be agile in managing your workload and constantly re-evaluating priorities.


It's expected that you will perform a variety of proactive tasks which will help maximise Core network uptime and prevent reoccurring issues.

Tasks will include resolving proactive monitoring alerts, deploying the latest security updates, systems maintenanceand upgrading customer systems.


It's an opportunity to work with the latest leading cutting-edge technologies in an agile environment that promotes systems and service excellence.

Naturally, this is a gateway role into Network Architecture.


Responsibilities:


  • Deal with work packages that help the development of the core network
  • Migration of services from legacy environments to new core network
  • Proactive management internet peering to reduce transit costs
  • Has a natural aptitude for troubleshooting and problemsolving.
  • Embraces continual change and process improvement.
  • Can express ideas and information clearly and concisely.
  • Plans and manages own workflow on a daily basis to ensure the achievement of KPIs.
  • Mentoring Junior Core Engineers
  • Proactively keeps up to date with technologies
  • Self-Starter without the need for day to day management

Experience:


  • Proven experience within Service Provider environment
  • JNCIP-SP certification
  • Strong Core Network Design
  • Juniper, Cisco and Fortinet Hands On experience
  • Network Analysis: Audit / Recommend / Remediate & Traffic Measurement
  • Network Design: Vendor Best Practice & HLD / LLD
  • Aptitude for quick problem resolution whilst working under pressure
  • An independent, selfstarter capable of managing their own workload
  • Confident with making change and making improvement
