Primary Role Purpose:
To provide project support and co-ordination to the Health Walks Development /Social Inclusion Officer (HWD/SIO) (1 post) and the two teams of volunteers.
- Project Coordination_
- Ensuring volunteer recruitment best practice is followed eg. processing references, DBS, issuing handbook and policies.
- Keeping up to date training records for the volunteers on the CRM database.
- Being the first point of contact for the volunteers and residents for any general concerns, elevating to the HWD/SIO if necessary.
- Ensuring Health Walks Leaders have all necessary paperwork for each walk eg. register, ICE cards, current risk assessment.
- Recording participant/resident details on the CRM.
- Maintaining monthly statistical data from the attendance sheets and providing monthly reports.
- There may be the opportunity to attend walks on occasion, in situations of absence.

- Support good internal communications and a positive working environment.
- Maintain good working relations with key individuals and other organisations within the voluntary, statutory, public and business sectors active within Rushmoor.

- In all undertakings ensure compliance with RVS policies.
About You_
You will be well educated, be administratively self-supporting and possess strong IT skills. You will possess a positive, 'can do' manner, be approachable and respectful.
You will be experienced with working with volunteers, or have been a volunteer yourself. It is preferable, although not essential that you appreciate the benefits of gentle regular exercise and can encourage others.
You will have an understanding of the difficulties faced by older people who may be living alone and distant from their family, and/or housebound.

- Knowledge of Office 365 and Windows10.
- Familiarity of using databases
- Good understanding of GDPR or willing to undertake training.
Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months
Part-time hours: 12 per week
