Description

• Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to recipes and instructions provided by the culinary team.
• Help with basic cooking tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meat, and preparing sauces.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash.
• Follow proper food safety guidelines and procedures to ensure the safety and quality of all food items.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of any shortages or discrepancies.

• Previous experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Caribbean food will help but is not required.
• Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation is a plus.**:
