Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to recipes and instructions provided by the culinary team.
- Help with basic cooking tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meat, and preparing sauces.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash.
- Follow proper food safety guidelines and procedures to ensure the safety and quality of all food items.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of any shortages or discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Experience with Caribbean food will help but is not required.
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation is a plus.**:
