Description
In this varied accounts assistant role every day will be different you'll be largely responsible for managing the sales ledger as well as dipping in to purchase ledger and other areas of finance to cover on holidays or during busy periods.
You'll work as a part of a small finance team of 7 with varying experience levels so they'll be opportunities to support team members as well as continuing to develop yourself, you'll need to be a team player and up for getting involved in a bit of everythingworking in this medium sized entrepreneurial business.
Day to day you'll manage 700 accounts with a large focus on ensuring the information is correct and continuing good relationships with customers so great attention to detail and communication skills are essential for this role.
Based from the head office in LE19 you'll work 8:30-5:00 every day with an hour for lunch you'll benefit from 20 days holiday plus bank holidays and a standard pension as well as being eligible for a company car after 2 years of service.
- 23 years experience in transactional finance
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident with invoice processing and query resolution
- Can do attitude
- Happy to work in a team focused environment
- Processing sales ledger invoices
- Dealing with any queries/resolving failed payments
- Covering purchase ledger for holiday cover
- Getting involved in ad hoc project work
