Description
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including tractortrailers, vans, and trucks
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
- Plan and follow assigned routes to ensure timely delivery
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in route driving or courier services preferred
- Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmission
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

Salary:
£11.00-£12.00 per hour
