Driver - Kingston upon Hull, United Kingdom - SAS Logistics

Description

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including tractortrailers, vans, and trucks
• Transport goods and materials to designated locations
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
• Plan and follow assigned routes to ensure timely delivery
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status
• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience in route driving or courier services preferred
• Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmission
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Salary:
£11.00-£12.00 per hour
