Description
We are seeking a talented and ambitious Graphic Designer to join the team at Progressive Media. You'll work closely with our production team to ensure the seamless execution of on trend thumbnails for YouTube based podcasts as well as related tasks such as artwork, branding and promotional materials

You will be responsible for creating and testing a wide variety of thumbnails for numerous clients and their podcasts to help gain visibility and discoverability in the ever growing podcast industry,


Collaboration is at the heart of this role, as you will liaise closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements, ensuring the delivery of compelling narratives and visuals that resonate with our target audience as well as with our in-house team and freelancers to curate compelling social media content that aligns with our clients brand image.


Your creative touch will be crucial in producing captivating social media graphics, enhancing our online presence and driving engagement across various platforms.


With an acute eye for detail, you will be responsible for reviewing and optimising content on social media as well testing and analysing different styles to keep on trend and relevant in the digital space.

  • Improve the quality, consistency and frequency of graphics
  • Develop, define and improve the visual brand style of multiple clients
  • Grow the reach and influence of the podcasts
  • Improve CTR and Discoverability of Videos
  • Continual personal development and improvement
  • Display the team values and culture at all times.

The role:


  • Create dynamic and varied content for a variety of podcast clients
  • Keep up to date with current social media trends and obtain feedback and analytics on our content and look at how we can improve
  • Work closely with members of the media team to create captivating content
  • Edit and distribute projects to agreed specifications and deadlines.
  • Must be able to work to tight deadlines/scheduling changes.
  • Manage your work schedule effectively, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Testing and Reporting of video analytics and thumbnail success
  • Keep track of and learn from other influencers in the industry.
  • Other jobrelated duties as assigned.

Essential Skills:


  • Proven experience as a graphic designer with a strong portfolio of work for social media and YouTube
  • Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop & Illustrator
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Passion for podcasting & YouTube with a keen interest in staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Experience in full Adobe Suite desirable
