The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Compliance leader to join our prestigious
Global Compliance and Risk department. As you join our team as Head of Compliance, you
will assume a critical leadership position where you will be in charge of a group of
outstanding regional compliance experts. Being able to work closely with local Compliance
Managers and exercising a great deal of autonomy will enable you to make sure our
compliance arrangements are strong, flexible, and efficient in reducing regulatory risk.
Working toward a responsive, practical, and commercially astute approach that seamlessly
aligns with our strategic objectives and risk appetite, you will engage with commercial
stakeholders across our organisation, reporting directly to the Head of Global Sales and
Managing Director in London. Effectiveness, efficiency, and successful delivery are highly
valued by us, and we work hard to ensure that all of our regulated businesses adhere to the
same standards, best practices, and ongoing compliance improvements.
Your day-day responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Developing and executing a regional Compliance strategy aligned with the
- Leading, managing, and developing the regional Compliance function, setting
- Driving performance, improvement, and efficiency in compliance processes using
- Managing regulatory risk, ensuring compliance with local regulations and global
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating the impact of legislative and regulatory
escalation point for MLROs
- Comanaging the global Transaction Monitoring Program and Financial Crime
- Overseeing and updating the global Compliance Risk Register and participating in
- Leading, managing, and developing team members across multiple jurisdictions
- Collaborating with the ERM team on business processes, controls, and GRC matters
- Reviewing and refreshing global Compliance policies in collaboration with the CRCO
- Working on initiatives and projects with global Compliance, leveraging best practices
- Preparing regional Compliance reports and assisting with board reports
About You:
- Demonstrated regulatory compliance experience with an OTC derivatives issuer
- Strong understanding of the financial services and AML/CTF regulatory environment
- Strong understanding of compliance management principles and industry best
- Proven leadership and communications skills with a track record of success and
- Comfortable functioning in a rapidly changing environment where real time
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and time management skills
- Welldeveloped interpersonal and influencing skills with demonstrated ability to build
functions and geographies
- Regulatory knowledge or experience in multiple jurisdictions will be an advantage

£60,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
