Description

We are currently working alongside a leading property development company who are looking to strengthen their team with the addition of a new head for their Mechanical and Electrical division.

As Head of the Mechanical and Electrical Division you will work closely with the design team and MD to push forward new and innovative ideas in the quest to go carbon neutral.

You will be leading the delivery of a £250m build programme, building on existing approached to power storage, ground source tech and solar generation.

Main responsibilities:

Take ownership of delivery across all sites.
Lead delivery team and heads of function.
Ensure full support of staff, ensuring that training and certifications are up to date and any further training required is implemented.
Facilitate regular reviews with Site Managers.
Define clear objectives across all teams.
Create a robust commissioning process with regular reviews and updates.
Thorough planning, testing and documentation of all aspects of commissioning process.
Cost control.
Deliver sites on schedule. Provide progress reports.
Ensure sites are compliant.
Liaise with all internal teams including buying and procurement.
Previous Function lead experience
Knowledge of all building methods
Good understanding of current rules and regulations
Up to date certifications and accreditations
