Howdens are recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join us at our manufacturing site in Runcorn, Cheshire.

As an Electrical Engineer you will have completed an engineering apprenticeship and have a background in maintenance within a manufacturing organisation, with experience in a proactive safety environment.

In this role you will be supporting proactive/preventative maintenance of our manufacturing equipment, services, utilities, and improvement projects and provide support to reactive breakdown maintenance as required.

Pay rate and shift pattern:

- £51,680 (including shift allowances) + monthly production bonus

40 hours per week (2 days and 2 nights (4 on / 4 off))

What we're looking for...

Time served Electrical Engineer with experience working in a FMCG maintenance role
Experience of CNC machinery
Knowledge and experience of Siemens s7 PLC, Beckhoff PLC, Pilz Safety PLC and Mitsubishi PLC would be desirable
Experienced fault finding, rootcause analysis and corrective actions
Experience of computerised maintenance management systems
