Description

Applications are open for a Clinical Research Practitioner (CRP) to join our research team for a 24 month fixed term post.

Please note we have two vacancies.

For the purposes of brevity the term clinical research practitioner (CRP) is used to represent all health professionals working in a patient facing role in clinical research and includes nurses (all branches), midwives, allied health professionals, clinical scientists and clinical research practitioners on the relevant Academy of Healthcare Sciences register or CRPs working towards registration.

The post is therefore open to all research health professionals.

In addition to assisting clinicians and other members of the research team, you will support research participants throughout the research process ensuring the well-being and safety of patients at all times.

You will perform study related procedures, including participant assessment, informed consent, clinical examinations and reporting adverse events.

The post holder will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability and initiative to work independently and manage a patient caseload across a variety of trials & studies.

You will be required to prioritise your own workload and be responsible for the management of a caseload of clinical trial patients.

You will be required to work autonomously and will also be responsible for identifying new research opportunities, coordinating and managing a number of clinical trials.

The post holders will also be required to work across specialties depending on portfolio requirements.
