Description

Flying Futures Sports Coach will form part of a hands on team to implement and deliver sports and physical activity sessions in the East locality of Doncaster.

This role will engage young people in the heart of their community through using sport and physical activity as a tool to engage.

The purpose of this role is to deliver high quality, engaging and fun sessions against set outcomes whilst being a positive role model to young people.

The post holder will need energy, enthusiasm, flexibility and a creative approach to be successful in this role.

Responsible for

Delivering sport and physical activity diversionary activities in the community to young people
Engaging young people in positive activities through high quality provision of activities
Monitoring and reporting each session
Ensure the delivery is delivered in a safe environment whilst maintaining safeguarding is at the heart of the provision.

Responsibilities

To provide a safe environment for delivery of activities
To deliver consistently high quality and engaging sessions
To deliver a range of sport and physical activities to suit the needs of the young people in each location

Desirable

Good knowledge of local area (East locality of Doncaster)
Driving licence or good access to locations in the East locality of Doncaster
Experience coaching multisport activities
