An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist in East Surrey Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities (CTPLD).


We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to work within a well-established multi-disciplinary health team.


Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SABP) is one of the largest Mental Health and Learning Disability Trusts in the South-East working collaboratively with health, social care and voluntary organisations.

We also work in partnership with university colleagues to develop research projects and funding streams. SABP innovative approach to learning disability and mental health care has been recognised nationally (HSJ).

Our learning disabilities services provide high quality care within assessment and treatment settings and within community teams. Our Speech and Language Therapists are committed to promoting good communication in a proactive, ethical way.

They have a key role in supporting individuals, their support networks and multi-disciplinary colleagues in the implementation of the RCSLT five good communication standards.
