Our client is an education business looking for a strong and experienced end to end Payroll professional to join as a Payroll Officer as part of a a small and friendly team.

Reporting in to the HR Manager you will be responsible for handling the payrollas well as providing technical and ensuring that all automated processes run smoothly.


Responsibilities:


  • Hands on with the day to day payroll
  • End to end processing
  • Year end process's
  • Deal sensitively with employee queries
  • One to ones
  • Stakeholder meetings
  • Coordinating the payroll department, as well as overseeing monthly teams tasks
  • Run reports and perform audits on pay data input

Requirements:


  • Hands on Payroll Professional
  • Experience with Education Payroll
  • Beneficial
  • Fully competent with all year end activity
  • Autoenrollment
  • Strategic experience
  • The ability to perform manual payroll calculations
  • Good working knowledge of current payroll legislation
  • The ability to work flexibly according to the changing needs of a busy office
  • CIPP Payroll qualification or equivalent (desirable)
