JOB TITLE:
Fitter's Mate


LOCATION:
Poole


HOURS:07:30 - 17:00 Monday - Friday


Purpose of the role:


To install decks and accessories on to mobile static caravans in the South West of the UK within an 80 mile radius of Poole (excluding Isle of Wight).

The Fitters Mate will work as part of a team supervised by a Lead Fitter which will involve assisting the Lead Fitter with:


Key responsibilities:


  • The Installation of decks and accessories to mobile static caravans as per the paperwork and in accordance with company specification and predetermined time plan.
  • Ensure products to be installed have been checked when loading in accordance with the job sheets.
  • Ensure the company is notified when the start of each installation is being carried, any delays and when completed.
  • Ensure customers are aware of your presence when on park.
  • Ensure upon each installation the completed products are cleaned and warranty labels added.
  • Ensure products which have not been used are returned in the condition they left the factory in so they can be reused on future installations.
  • Maintain continuity with every installation.
  • Ensure all health and safety aspects of the job are adhered to.
  • Ensure suitable attire is worn at all times.
  • Ensure vans are kept clean and tidy at all times and in roadworthy condition.
  • Obey Park Rules and etiquette.

Other responsibilities:


  • National exhibition installations are carried out to the best possible standard and on time by liaising with all in house departments.
  • Help with special projects.
