Description

The Trek Group are looking to appoint an experienced
Quality Supervisorfor their prestigious
Cartwright Vehicle Conversions site in Belton, DN9 1NY.

We are looking for a hands on and detail-oriented
Quality Supervisor to guarantee our products meet the customer requirements.

This will be achieved by physically checking all vehicles both at Quality Control and on the production line - working with a team of one other inspector and reporting to the Head of Manufacturing.

Main duties:

Visually inspect all vehicles at 1st, 2nd and PDI check levels to ensure final vehicle conforms to customer requirements.
Gaining an understanding of the client's needs and requirements and communicating them and the quality standards to the production teams.
Work closely with the production team to identify any in process nonconformities and potential process improvements.
Assisting with controlling the ISO9001 accreditation, including internal auditing.
Assisting with investigating and resolving internal and external quality complaints.
Devising ways to improve the manufacturing process to ensure higherquality goods.
Assisting with overseeing product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards.
Inspecting the final output, comparing it to the requirements, and approving or rejecting the final products.
Keeping accurate documentation and performing statistical analysis.
Putting Quality to the top of the Company agenda.
Comply with all Company Health & Safety procedures.
You are a quick learner with keen attention to detail.
Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
You are a team player who can work well with others in order to meet Company objectives.
You are observant and would challenge inconsistencies.
A full diving licence is required as you will be moving vehicles in and around the site.
