What will I be doing?


This position will travel daily to evaluate hotels and collaborate in protecting the integrity of the Full Service, Suites, & Lifestyle Brands.

The position will ensure effective auditing in terms of cleanliness, condition, service, guest safety, hotel openings, and brand standards.

The Manager, QA Auditor will conduct a review of the audit with the General Manager of the property prior to leaving the hotel and generate reports with images of the inspection for analysis by numerous parties.


  • This position requires the Auditor/Manager to have strong communication skills to provide QA support and guidance for owners, operators, general managers, vendors, and corporate liaisons.
  • Perform routine Quality Assurance evaluations.
  • Address inquiries and communications made internally, both verbally and in written communications.
  • Address inquiries and communications made internally, both verbally and in written communications inclusive of inquiries from General Managers, Auditors, Owners, Sr. Directors, Vice Presidents, Brand teams, Architecture, Design & Construction, and Human Resources.
  • Monitor expenses incurred from travel completed/scheduled, both based upon monthly and yearly goals.
  • Coordinate upcoming activities such as travel plans and hotel scheduling, ensuring downtime work is completed and submitted by established deadlines.
  • Participate in Consistency exercises and contribute to content and projects as necessary.
  • Participate in activities outside of QA to gain a better knowledge of other departments.

What are we looking for?


This role supports hotels throughout the EMEA region and we are looking for someone who has worked within a hotel-based management role (ideally at GM level).

The role will be technically home based but will involve travel over 90% of the time within the allocated region which will predominantly be the UK and Europe

Success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

  • Proven track record of being highly coordinated, independent, and motivated.
  • Successful at multitasking, while demonstrating robust knowledge of hotel operations, including front and back of the house operations, including F&B operations, product replacement cycles, renovations, and physical upgrades in addition to all relevant Brand standards.
  • Excellent project management skills, allowing you to direct multiple projects at a time. Experience in managing multiple personnel is also required.
  • Ability to analyze and discuss hotel performance metrics at the owner/management company level.
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • College Diploma
  • Significant experience as a Hotel General Manager or as a Hotel Executive Committee member
  • Significant management experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and
  • Multidepartmental hotel experience
  • Driver's License
  • Ability to travel 90% of the time
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
  • Fluency in a Foreign language
  • Food Safety Certification
