We have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Senior HR Coordinator to join the University of Cambridge Estates Division.

The University is one of the world's leading research-intensive academic institutions.

The Estates Division is responsible for supporting all the areas of the Estate across the University and is a team of approximately 300 staff.


About this role:
The role leads on day to day HR functions including recruitment processes, HR issues and contractual matters.

Additional to offering support and advice as appropriate, the Senior HR Coordinator will monitor and review systems and procedures for ensuring best practice and compliance; support the development of Estate Division HR policies; making recommendations for improvements, making implementations and monitoring changes agreed by the leadership.


For both Estates Division internal and external-facing functions, the role holder provides senior level communications, documentation (including Management Information), and liaison and coordination (maintaining information flow) on behalf of ED with external organisations.

The Senior HR Coordinator will lead some HR projects such as developing and implementing Estates Division programmes.


The Senior HR Coordinator will have line management responsibility including all aspects of line management from induction, SRD, ensuring training, performance management, and allocation of work as well as responsibility for supervision of temporary workers as and when required.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 12 months in the first instance.
