We have an opportunity that has become available for a temporary experienced Admin Assistant / Business Support Officer to provide additional support to the Disability Business Support Service.

The post holder will be required to provide a comprehensive administrative support function to the 3 strands of the Disability Service
25, Resources/Early Intervention & Prevention).


The role will offer an integrated model of support to colleagues in both Social Care and Betsi Cadwaladr University Local Health Board (BCULHB).


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide front of house/reception/telephony support across 2 sites.
  • To support the screening/transfer and signposting of incoming disability related calls for both Social Care and BCULHB Learning Disability
  • Work on rotation between 2 office bases
  • Colwyn Bay and Craig y Don (Canolfan Riviere Day Centre).

**Qualifications
**- Good standards of education (5 GCSE or equivalent) plus technology & software skills

  • ECDL (European Computer License) or demonstrable experience.

Skills & experience:


  • Knowledge of WCCIS (Client Information System) or similar database system.
  • Ability to take minutes/notes.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Customer Service & telephony skills desirable
  • Experience of working in an office environment.
  • Knowledge of data protection.
  • Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of financial administration (raising orders, processing invoices) desirable
  • Proven arithmetic & calculation ability (petty cash, incentive payments
  • Proven analytical ability in validating information for accuracy (timesheets)
  • Ability to communicate with ease and comfort with citizens presenting communication difficulties/challenging behaviours desirable
  • Typing & active listening skills, with strong organisation, planning & problemsolving skills
  • Teamwork & interpersonal skills
