If you can answer yes to this question, then we may have the role for you.

In this brand-new position we're looking for an individual that can help support and coordinate exciting activities for our customers based in extra care homes across the Peterborough area.


Working across our Extra Care services, this role will enable you to have the opportunity to research, propose, and arrange activities to engage and enrich our customers experience with Longhurst Group.

Examples of this could be on site bingo, physical and mental activities through to arranging and attending external day trips.


To be successful you'll need to be a creative and outgoing individual, you'll need to be curious and look for new ways to engage our customers, however in return, you'll be able to enjoy the feeling of satisfaction that will come with improving the lives of other people.

Whether it's a public holiday or a day of celebration we're looking for you to find new ways of enjoying these with our customers.


This role will be great for an individual that's looking to work with people, you'll need to be a confident communicator, and be motivated by working with customers in a residential care set in.

Offered on a 30 hour per week basis this is a permanent role and we welcome hearing from applicants who may be new to activity coordination, already working within the care and support sector, or experienced activity coordinators.
