Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Projects Lead to join our team.

Reporting to the Head of IT and Digital Development, you will be responsible for leading the IT Support Analysts and supporting the delivery of a range of technology initiatives.

The initialfocus of this role will be to lead the strategic restructuring of the American Golf IT Support function and provide governance and management of IT suppliers to ensure their performance meets agreed SLA's.

Key responsibilities:

Delivering projects to fulfill objectives to a high standard from the initial stages, through to project delivery
Developing, maintaining and executing project and programme plans
Leading the project team in collaboration with internal teams and external partners
Managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring clear and concise communication
Identifying and managing risks, issues, actions, change requests, decisions and dependencies effectively
Providing coaching and mentoring to more junior members of the team
Line management of the AG IT support function and management of IT suppliers
Demonstrable experience as a technical delivery, project or programme manager across the full project lifecycle
Track record in managing and delivering datarich technical projects utilising internal and external expertise
Extensive experience in project management practices and principles
Strong experience working with multiple project management methodologies including Waterfall and Agile methods
Advanced project management skills and training
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong influencing and negotiation skills
Experience of building working relationships, and managing internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications in Project Management (PRINCE2 / Agile / APM)
