Our North Fabrication division are a service focused, performance driven business, offering construction, maintenance and enhancement solutions to a diverse range of energy industry customers.

They are currently recruiting for a Draughts person to support current and upcoming projects.


Job Purpose & Objective


To support in the overall delivery of the Group's business objectives, whilst implementing departmental procedures in line with Company standards.

Responsible for ensuring;
- that the fabrication facility is provided with the relevant draughting support to achieve efficient production of the finished product


that the relevant documented quality procedures are implemented within the drawing practice to ensure the drawing office activities are adequately controlled.

Key Accountabilities:
-


  • Ensure compliance and efficiency for all projects, within cost and resource parameters.
  • Develop and grow positive working relationships with all levels (peers, teams, senior management, key stakeholders).

Experience, Qualification and Attributes:
-


  • Proficient in the use of "Autocad" 2D & 3D.
  • Knowledge of offshore oil and gas subsea structures / topside structures preferable.
  • Knowledge of welded connections & understanding of welded structures preferable.
  • Knowledge of pipework detailing advantageous.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel etc).
  • Can demonstrate effective time management.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Meet / achieve project deadlines, within a fast moving, dynamic industry.
  • Ability to work with industry standards, codes & clients' specifications.

Personal Responsibilities:
-


AUTHORITY; -

  • Stop work if not in compliance with HSE standards.
  • Challenge the norm and intervene proactively with line management on any breach of HSEQ procedures or practices.
  • Request information necessary to perform the task.

HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT; -

  • Comply with all HSE Regulatory requirements, at all times. Report accidents and near misses using the correct methods, ensuring that the team are also aware of their responsibilities.
  • Maintain excellent levels of housekeeping, ensuring work areas are free from waste & trip hazards.
  • Comply with site rules/policy, at all times.
  • Demonstrate, through action, a proactive attitude towards HSE.
  • Support, through compliance, our 10 Global Rules and HSE Policies.
  • Responsible for your own Health and Safety and that of others, who may be affected by your work.
  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment as provided when necessary.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT; -

  • Undertake agreed training, in order to provide a framework of knowledge and skills required, to perform effectively in the team/department/business unit, in order to demonstrate and maintain required competency in role (including IT related training for MS office suite).
  • Participate in regular reviews with relevant managers, identifying and agreeing action plans where appropriate.

QUALITY ASSURANCE; -

  • Comply with and support the Business Management System, within own scope of responsibilities and within the Company as a whole.
