About the role

As a Goods Inward Quality Inspector you will ensure that goods received from suppliers are inspected to required quality standards, set by our internal and external customers.

You will record and maintain inspection records accurately and follow regulatory compliance.

As part of this role you will:

Complete visual inspection and basic measurement checks on components at goods receipt, and parts already booked into stock
Record the results of the inspections and feedback data to the Quality Team
Quarantine rejected parts
Process rejected parts and complete documents ready for return to suppliers
Liaise with supplier representatives when they visit site to verify, or rework rejected parts
Feedback reject rates to suppliers
