  • Working With: Caldecotte Xperience staff and the wider Action4Youth team

Main Purpose and Scope of the Role

  • The Customer Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring children visiting the outdoor centre have a fun and positive experience.
  • This role will help prepare for groups to arrive, checking the premises are safe and set up accordingly.
  • They will greet groups as they arrive, provide orientation of the accommodation and grounds.
  • Assist with the smooth running of the day and capture the groups' feedback as they depart.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

  • To oversee residential and day visits from arrival at Caldecotte to ensure that a highquality service is delivered.
  • To liaise with customers after the booking procedure has been completed. Collating group information and communicating needs to other departments.
  • To deliver welcome talks and to provide centre users with the appropriate health and safety information.
  • To act as the first point of contact and to help resolve any issues/ problems with the Office Manager that may arise during visits.
  • To help prepare the cleanliness of the centre and to ensure that cleaners are completing set tasks.
  • To ensure that the centre is prepared for day and residential visits and that standards are maintained for the duration of the visits.
  • To collect and collate feedback from group leaders and participants.
  • To discuss potential opportunities for future visits with customers whilst they are on site.
  • To put in place and to constantly review systems and procedures that enhance the experience of visiting groups.
  • To notify line manager of any repairs or maintenance issues.

General Responsibilities
Support events and meetings when required.

Support the continued development of quality standards as specified by Action4Youth.


To have regard for the vision of Action4Youth and to display a commitment to equal opportunities and to the protection and safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

Report any behaviour, conversations or comments which are inappropriate within a setting for children and young people.

To carry out any other Action4Youth duties as required by the Head of Centre.

Administering own workload which includes meeting targets and deadlines in line with the Action4Youth Performance Management System.

Undertaking responsibility, as part of the team, for all Health and Safety work related matters.

Working within the guidelines of Action4Youth policies and procedures.


Job Types:
Temporary contract, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 4-6 months

£25,000.00 per year

Education:


  • A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

- customer service: 2 years (preferred)
