Salary :
£24,000 - £26,000 DOE

Trafford Park

Working hours: 40 hours per week

Our client are looking for an experienced credit controller to grow their busy and family-feel finance team.

They are a global and recognised company, working in many countries and you will be working in the UK head office.

Due to how busy the credit control team is, they are looking for someone with substantial credit control experience to come in and hit the ground running.

Training will be given until you are comfortable with the software and processes, and then there isthe opportunity to work hybrid once confident in the role.

Ultimately, you will be ensuring accurate and timely posting of all cash received (direct debits, cheques/BACS etc.) onto the relevant ledger account, in accordance with the Companies Credit Policy/ProceduresManual.

Some duties include:

Chase nonpayment of invoices through a variety of communications
Collate all payments received and complete all relevant control documentation
Post payments to customer sales ledger accounts using predefined processes and controls
Reconcile customer's remittances to the sales ledger
File of daily bank statements and relevant back up
Process credit notes
Process direct debit mandates and maintain records
Assist the business in achieving goals for both revenue growth and delinquency/bad debt expense
General duties, as required, to assist in the general running of the Cash Allocations, Collections and Contract Admin departments.

Skills, experience and knowledge:

Demonstrable commercial credit experience
Collections experience preferred
Operational and allocations experience
Strong IT Skills and the ability to use excel
Strong fluency in English, with other European languages being an advantage
Strong analytical capabilities
