About the Role

Our client, a renowned architecture and interior design studio, seeks a Sustainability Consultant to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sustainability consulting, a passion for residential design, and knowledge of current UK energy legislation. They will work collaboratively with a creative and innovative team to drive sustainable design practices forward.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and improve the studio's sustainable practices across design principles
Enhance general knowledge of sustainability and regenerative design among the team
Conduct energy modeling, daylight/sunlight analysis, and overheating assessments
Ensure consistent application of the studio's sustainability framework across all projects
Support the design team in achieving net zero carbon targets
Stay up-to-date with industry standards, processes, and legislation
Prepare comprehensive sustainability reports
Lead and develop junior team members
Collaborate with senior team members to develop and drive the company's sustainability strategy

Key Skills/Requirements

Experience with at least two of the following: One Click LCA, Energy, Daylight/Sunlight, Overheating, or Thermal Bridging
Relevant sustainability qualifications
Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and proficiency in energy modeling software
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Passion for residential design
Line management experience
