About our Sales Director role
Our Accountancy and Practice team at Sage are constantly striving to make Sage the software of choice within the professional Accountancy world

With a focus on the development and execution of the Sales and Success operational strategy the Sales Director will drive customer acquisition, expansion, and retention.

Your team will be made up of passionate Inside Sales Managers as well as well as Sales Development Representatives.

Summary of your day-to-day?

Collaborating with key stakeholders in Marketing, Product Management, Customer Services to develop sales plans to defeat the competition, this requires plotting the best course of action to maximize revenue using the most cost-effective sales model (which you will own) You will also lead a high performing and diverse teams who embrace accountability to deliver outstanding results by forging a culture and environment where colleagues continually seek to improve and are target focussed daily.

Minimum qualifications

  • A strong strategic mindset coupled with excellent planning and execution skills.
  • A blend of business and technical knowledge to develop and execute strategy
  • Resourcefulness and budget management
  • Commercial experience in a similar role
