Description

We are looking for a competent Team Leader within Home Care to provide support to people living at home in a professional and competent manner.

Nayland Care offers community care services to adults in various locations across Suffolk.

The value of care workers was recognised during the Covid-19 pandemic and although it can be a demanding job, it can also be very satisfying and rewarding.


Responsibilities:


  • Completing assessments for new clients and to type out the new care plans
  • Complete reviews for clients
  • Assist new members of staff by allowing them to shadow you and to be their point of support.
  • Completing risk assessments for clients
  • Completing observations for staff members in your area
  • Assisting people to take their medication
  • Assisting people with their personal care needs
  • Assisting people with mobility and access to the community when required
  • Supporting people to follow prescribed exercise regimes to aid recovery from injury
  • Supporting people with their shopping
  • Undertaking light housework duties
  • Providing companionship to people whilst maintaining professional boundaries
  • Be able to respond to emergency situations such as falls/sudden illness
  • To be able to complete factual, thorough daily care records and incident reports
  • Liaising with colleagues to ensure that care and support plans are being achieved

Salary:
From £12.60 per hour
