Description
This role is central to the smooth operation of the Fundraising & Communications directorates at War Child UK.

You will work with colleagues across all the directorates, providing first class administrative support across creative projects and the day to day running of the teams.

You'll work closely with colleagues from various directorates, gaining invaluable exposure to our innovative fundraising activities and campaigns while directly supporting our Philanthropy and Partnerships Director, Supporter Engagement Director, and Fundraising Engagement Director.

As a key role in our Fundraising & Communications directorates, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth administrative operation of our teams.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide firstclass administrative support to the Philanthropy and Partnerships Director, Supporter Engagement Director, and Fundraising Engagement Director including diary coordination, invoice payment, meeting preparation and attendance, minute taking, impact reports, board paper preparation, presentations and proposal content.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across all directorates, offering administrative support to maintain smooth operations and close coordination.
  • Use Salesforce to meticulously record and update crucial relationship details for each Director, ensuring comprehensive and accurate documentation of key interactions, milestones, and insights.
  • Assist in coordinating and organising international travel arrangements, ensuring seamless logistics for travel, including booking flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and any necessary documentation.
  • Proactively plan and organise scheduled work items with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring efficient time management and alignment with expectations and needs. Effectively manage an ongoing reactive workload, adeptly prioritising tasks and adjusting schedules as necessary to meet evolving demands and deadlines.
  • Support the Fundraising & Communications teams with regular project activity including vetting, updating presentations, updating project overviews, updating impact reports and updating ask documents as and when needed.
  • Contribute to creating a culture committed to the safeguarding of children and adults and compliant to WCUK's Safeguarding and PSEAH (Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse & Harassment) Policies.
