Store/Yard Person Location:

Glasgow
The role As a Yard Person working for GCU, you will be working as part of a team helping to install Fibre network across the locality of GlasgowYour role will be to assist in ensuring that the yard is kept clean and tidy, working closely with the Yard Supervisor, responsible for the management and control of stored materials in a busy Yard.

Also to ensure that stores are properly maintained and stocked
You will help to build the Future of Fibre by:

Loading and unloading of stores from vehicles. Using a forklift, pallet truck or by hand
Stock control
Issuing and recording stores out to teams daily.
Will need to be available to transport stores or material to site
You will need:* Experience of working in a stores/yard environment
In date drivers licence
Good organisational skills
Excellent communication skills
Proactive approach to problem solving This is an excellent opportunity for a permanent role which will ensure good career progression
