Our client Is a very interesting Sustainability Consultancy that don't just talk the talk they walk the walk as well.

They have poured considerable investment and resource in to R&D for sustainable products and innovating in sustainable solutions for the projects they work on.

This consultancy Is currently sitting at 35 employees and looking to grow to 50 within the next 18 months.

With 2 arms to their business they focus on creating sustainable solutions for the built environment as well as having a corporate sustainability team that focus on strategizing with some very large businesses.

We're currently helping them find a motivated Principal ESG Consultant to join a team of sustainability experts.

As Principal Sustainability Consultant, you will help shape and deliver our work by developing relationships with new clients and managing key strategic relationships.

As well as taking a leading role in business development, you will work with sector-leading retailers and other organisations on carbon footprint and net-zero strategy, sustainability strategy, governance and reporting, and the development of sustainable products.

You will manage between five and seven strategic client relationships, taking responsibility for the delivery of high-quality outputs in the areas of:
Carbon footprinting and science-based net-zero strategy, Corporate sustainability strategy, governance, and reporting, Sustainable products.

This role will directly supervise the delivery of colleagues' work across a varied portfolio of projects.

You will inspire our ambitious junior consultants, helping them to deliver high-quality outputs and to develop their skills and careers.

You will work as a senior team member and project director across the Sustainable Business Team.

You will work closely with, and be line managed by, the Head of Sustainable Business, and will occasionally be required to deputise for them.

Ultimately, you will be a direct line manager of two to three members of staff.

Skills and abilities:

Proven project and program management skills and experience.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines independently and as a team member or leader.
Clear communicator comfortable with presenting to senior audiences.
