Howe Green House School is looking for enthusiastic and versatile individuals to join our wonderful Teaching Assistant team on a full time, part time or on a 1:1 basis with children who have special educational needs.


The principle role is to assist the teachers in providing appropriate support to small groups and individual children, particularly in the curriculum areas of language and mathematics.


Each member of staff also assists in the preparation of lesson resources, helps with displays and covers break times on a rota system.

The successful applicant will be required to attend staff meetings as appropriate, training days and Speech Day which is held on the last Saturday of the Summer term each year.

The posts require initiative, patience, flexibility and a desire to become part of a happy and purposeful team.

Experience of working with children of a relevant age in a school setting together with a Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred but is not essential for these posts.
