We're looking for an Inventory & Release Change Analyst to join us in Bradford on a permanent full-time basis.


Reporting into the Inventory & Release Team Manager you will beresponsible for updating and maintaining network and premise inventory and driving standard methodology processes within the Inventory and Release Team to ensure the records held in our inventorysystems accurately reflect changes made to the physical network, as well as homes passed (serviceable premises) in a timely and efficient manner.

Based in our Shared Service Centre, known as LGSSC.

Acts as a central specialty service supporting the wider Liberty Global group with specialisms in areas of Finance, Accounting, People, Legal & Systems.

This central team supports a number of businessesacross the Liberty Global footprint including Virgin Media.

What will you be doing?

  • Maintaining Network and Premise Inventory data by identifying and investigating discrepancies or inaccuracies, resolving root cause, calling out issues and implementing agreed actions.
  • Capturing and analysing data to provide insight on difficulties within the process which require attention.
  • Responsible for supplying innovative ideas and leading transformation projects on behalf of the team.
  • Providing domain expertise on Network and Premise Inventory data and collaborating across multiple customer groups to deliver endtoend process improvements.
  • Delivering new process/system training and continued support to the Inventory and Release Team as and when required.
  • Support Virgin Media's Network Expansion Programme and other highprofile projects through digital transformation and automation opportunities.
  • Perform UAT and PIT testing for any internal or client led projects on behalf of the team.

We tend to look for people with:

Essential:

  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Previous experience in mentoring and delivering volume processes.
  • Ability to support with testing requirements on behalf of the team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to plan.
  • Strong verbal, written and numerical communication and influencing skills with the ability to lead and facilitate meaningful relationships.
  • Capable of using IT and a diverse range of transactional processing systems.

Desirable:

  • Telco sector experience.
  • Experience of Lean or 6 Sigma methodologies.
  • Ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure.
  • Sharp focus on how teamwork can be done differently with automation.
