SEND Teaching Assistant - Stockport


Tradewind are recruiting for an SEND Specialist to start after the February half-term in one of our fantastic primary school's SEND provision.

The role is full-time, working in the room to support students with a variety of additional needs, including ASC,ADHD and SEMH difficulties.


Experience of working with and supporting Special Educational Needs is essential, as you will be instrumental in guiding the students to their fullest potential.

Prior experience working in care, social work or law enforcement would be beneficial.

Your role would be supporting the Behaviour Mentor, and you could be:

  • Supporting and managing pupils with EHCPs
  • Working on a one to one and group basis
  • Taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the young people in your care
  • Supporting the school team to provide a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for students to learn
