About Us:
Being a Team Leader leading regulatory teams is one of the most important roles at the EA (Environment Agency).
We regulate everything from what is discharged into our rivers, to operators of waste management facilities, farms and other land management activities across a range of urban and rural sites, all of which may impact on the local environment.
Whilst our Officers deal with a wide range of environmental issues, you will lead a team with the sole focus on the regulation of 1 of the 9 Water Companies across the country.

What will you do:
Such broad scope of work calls for diverse, multi-skilled teams.
Your role will be to lead a team of regulators with a critical frontline operational role, protecting the environment helping create a cleaner, safer and healthier environment for people and wildlife.
You'll manage and motivate a team with responsibility for the regulation of a Water Company. You will lead experienced officers as well as those new to the business. Leading them to address compliance issues in the water industry, including those reputationally and environmentally high risk.Responding to incidents is a central part of what we do.
You will be required to have an incident role and make yourself available to respond to incidents or provide business continuity support during an incident.
This may attract an additional payment and full training and alternative working arrangements will be available to support you with your incident role.
