Sittingbourne
Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
£40k plus a company performance bonus

ASAP start date**My client is a Kent based logistics, packaging and supply chain specialist, the business has experienced strong commercial performance, and despite the backdrop of a challenging economic climate, they have continued to invest into the business - with a focuson improving systems and processes to enable them to continually provide optimal service to their customer base.

They have also focused on hiring top talent across the board into the company, to ensure there is a strong talent pipeline moving, and this newlycreated Commercial Operations Manager role is an extremely critical hire for the team.

The successful Commercial Operations Manager role will include, but not be limited to:

The day-to-day running of the business
Heading up the Q1 2023 move to their new site
Implementing the new Inventory Management System
Managing the fleet
Creating and implementing new processes
Assisting in the preparation of audits
Creating and maintaining sales, stock, and customer reports
Preparing and managing large customer tenders

The successful Commercial Operations Manager will be / have:

Highly motivated and have a hunger to succeed
The ability to selfmanage and plan effectively
Excellent IT skills, especially Excel
The ability to identify and solve problems
Strong academic record (degree 2:1 as a minimum)
5 years' business/operational management experience within a fastpaced, logistics environment
Strong commercial and business acumen
A natural leader, who is comfortable taking responsibility for key aspects of running a business operation
