Prince Resourcing is currently recruiting a
Network Engineer on behalf of our exciting client, within the ISP industry, offering a salary of
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum (plus excellent benefits).

This role can be worked on a
hybrid basis, with presence in the office in Bath, two/three days a week.

This is a fantastic, hands-on opportunity for you if you have a strong understanding of network infrastructure/network hardware

Responsibilities include:

Designing, implementing and supporting the configuration on all of the active network components
Producing low level designs to support network rollouts & contribute to high level designs
Involvement in network related projects
Supporting the day to day operations of the organisations network
Diagnosing the root causes of complex network issues
Act as an escalation point for the NOC/Field Engineering team

What you'll need:

Strong understanding of Network Infrastructure
CCNA/CCNP certification (desirable)
Technical knowledge in optical ethernet, IP transmission and routing (including ISIS and BGP)
Experience in staging and testing of networking equipment to fulfil design requirements.
In depth understanding of optical fibre network technologies (PON or XGS)
SIP Telephony
Experience working within a Unix environment
