Salary:
£45,000 to £50,000 per annum

You will support the organisation in leading the international marketing and promotion of our highly respected Education, Events and Journal portfolio of products.

You will be responsible for the development and implementation of multiple digital campaigns to deliver results to support the growth of our Society.

You will also be leading on the communications working closely with the CEO.

You will be highly collaborative and have experience of working closely with multiple stakeholders to develop and deliver campaigns which meet shared priorities and KPIs.


Marketing and Communications Manager main duties and responsibilities:
Manage the Society's overarching marketing activities

  • Develop a comprehensive marketing plan covering Education, Events and Journal campaigns; implement and monitor its performance
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to plan multiple campaigns, prioritise resources and activity to optimise the impact for our society
  • Develop a proactive and resultsdriven culture within the team, whilst promoting a collaborative approach to working with internal teams
  • Monitor, evaluate and analyse all campaign activity and monitor external trends to optimise performance of all marketing activity in support of ISUOG growth targets
  • Strengthen ISUOG's brand across the organisation, both internally and externally
  • Scope out and develop new promotional and business opportunities
  • Manage the Society's style guideline and propose opportunities to strengthen this
  • Work with the Senior Management Team to produce ISUOG's Annual Report
Product Marketing - Education

  • Work with the Senior Marketing Coordinator and Education team to manage the marketing and promotion of our comprehensive portfolio of education products to ensure sales targets are achieved or exceeded
  • Scope out new education opportunities in global markets and prepare business cases
Product Marketing - Events

  • Working with the Events team, lead on developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing campaign for our flagship annual World Congress to ensure income targets are achieved or exceeded
  • Develop the marketing campaign for our International Symposium product ensuring it complements the World Congress and delivers against organisational objectives and targets
Product Marketing - Publication

  • Working in collaboration with the Managing Editor, ensure effective promotion of our flagship Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (UOG) Journal
  • Scope out and develop new business opportunities to extend our presence in the publication market
  • Work with the publisher to ensure successful marketing strategies for the Journal and Society
Product Marketing - General

  • Working together with the Education, Events and Journal leads, educate both internal and external stakeholders about our product features and their benefits
  • Create product content (e.g. sales documentation, case studies, product videos, website copy, blog posts) to articulate the benefits of our products to the world
  • Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our product
  • Measure and optimise the buyer journey as it relates to product feature adoption and usage
Communications

  • Leading on all communication channels and optimising these
  • Ensure consistency in all messaging
  • Help build our communication and advocacy strategy

Marketing and Communications Manager Requirements:


  • Good first degree (2:1 preferred) in Marketing Management
  • Solid experience in digital marketing, product marketing, and/or product management
  • Proven record of delivering marketing campaigns through digital channels and optimising results against agreed objectives
  • Understanding of good user experience and content principles
  • Extensive experience of digital advertising and social media platforms including search and google analytics
  • Sound experience in managing multiple communication channels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills there is a heavy amount of writing and presenting/selling ideas in this role
  • Developing business cases
  • Willingness and availability to travel occasionally throughout Europe and globally

  • Awareness of and interest in issues in global public health / women's health
