Hugely successful Private Equity backed service provider business based in Bradford currently require a Management Accountant join their expanding UK division.

Working in a well-established business, with continuous development at the heart of what theydo; you will be involved in a variety of duties.

The role is for a Management Accountant - offering an excellent all round finance opportunity, with varied responsibility and lots of exposure to commercial aspects of finance.

They will provide huge scope for progression both parallel and vertical opportunitiesthat will open up during your time in this business.

The role has been newly created as the business embarks on the next stage of its development and growth through Private Equity investment.

Reporting directly into the Finance Director you will be responsible for:

  • Full ownership for the management accounts and financial reporting
  • Lead the Business Review Meetings to ensure accountability for P&Ls to Operations team and improve business performance
  • Delivery of weekly sales, wages and P&L reporting and dashboards
  • Key partner to Operations managers ensuring financial performance maintained
  • Lead the development of accounting controls
  • Balance sheet recs, and monthend procedures
  • Manage and develop accounting team and some line management/support responsibility
  • Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies to finance and business processes. Seek and identify better ways of doing things
  • Review of monthly P&Ls, profitability and margins, making recommendations for improvements
  • Provide meaningful and insightful MI to assist the business with relevant decision making to drive business performance
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:

  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA part qualified with previous strong experiences within the finance function.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to adapt and pick up projects on an ad hoc basis.
