What will you be doing?
- Responsible for managing winning new business and renewal opportunities throughout our proposals process
- Prepare proposal timelines and produce / communicate / monitor proposal action plan to drive opportunity through a structured, robust winning process
- Formulate overall structure of the proposal submission before writing commences
- Produce or/ support the production of proposal specific, and other collateral, to ensure the correct Veolia brand position and messages and value proposition(s) is promoted
- Work alongside each project team to develop win themes and strategies for success
- Responsible for the overall content quality, whilst working to tight deadlines to deliver industry leading and compelling tenders and proposals
- Contribute to a central bid library and search, retrieve and input all reusable proposal components and facilitate required inputs from internal and external contributors
- Responsible for understanding the requirements of the inbound tender requests and the needs of the customer to create impactful responses
- Overseeing the successful submission of responses within the agreed timeframe and budget parameter, ensuring all critical path timescales are met throughout the project timeframe
- Suggesting reference points, evidence and case study requirements to evidence and enhance the quality of the response
- Responsible for proofreading submissions, review meetings and ensuring the necessary quality checks are delivered
- Maintain links with client (if required) building rapport, ensuring clarification questions are submitted and responses received, logged, actioned and communicated.
- Join client feedback sessions and conduct and collate proposal feedback from all members of the project proposal team for continuous improvement and emerging best practice.
- Accountable for the successful completion of Expression of Interest (EOI), Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and Invitation to Tender (ITT) documentation in line with corporate guidelines
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and quality and standards of proposal writing and project management through training and development

- Proficient in proofreading and editing
- Project Management experience
- Flexibility to meet demanding proposal deadlines and work under pressure
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
- Understanding of the UK procurement environment public and private sectors
- Proactive approach, uses initiative and takes responsibility for own projects
- Assimilate large volumes of information and understand, plan and manage associated workflows
- Developed relationships and rapport with internal colleagues
- Working knowledge of Google systems and SalesForce CRM
- Passion for quality and continuous improvement with a focus on delivery
